Welcome

SSCC currently plays Senior/Adult matches on Sundays competing in local friendlies. The club is proud of its ethos in playing competitively, but always fairly, sportingly, and in a friendly manner, and promoting participation for all, regardless of playing standard. Summer practice for our Seniors and older Juniors takes place on Wednesday evenings with additional Senior nets sessions on Friday evenings as club events allow.

SSCC's Junior Section for players aged 7 years and over, is steered by ECB Level 2 qualified coaches supported a passionate group of parent volunteers. Training takes place on Saturday mornings from mid-April to mid-July. Players have the opportunity to play in 'Incrediball' and Hardball teams (competing in the Surrey Junior Cricket Championship), enabling as many as possible to have the experience of playing in matches. The club also delivers an annual 8 -week programme of Dynamos Cricket.

Cricket at SSCC is open to all Juniors, regardless of gender, playing standard or initial confidence level.

SSCC's primary aim is to promote a love of cricket and to help all of our players to develop and grow in confidence as cricketers.

With cricket club subscriptions from just £65 per year, including family membership of the Sports Club, the aim is for cricket to be as affordable as possible. All equipment can be provided.

New players are always welcome.
